The Welly’s Wine Score(WWS) is a wine rating system based on 5 categories.
Category 1 : Appearance – This encompasses how and what a wine looks like in the glass.
Category 2 : Aroma – This is what the wine smells like in the glass.
Category 3 : Taste – A bit self explanatory but this is what the wine tastes like.
Category 4 : Mouthfeel – An extension of taste but how the wine feels in the mouth. Wines with heavy acidity or tannin might be effected here.
Category 5 : Experience – The x factor in the scoring system as this covers the total physical and emotional experience on the day of tasting.
